About us
Moe, born and raised in Japan, and Tom, a Dutch traveler who fell in love with Japan while studying there.
​Our love for Japan and travel led us to create Cocoro Japan, a travel agency dedicated to making your perfect trip. We are a two-person team which helps to keep things personal and friendly, you'll always talk to one of us from beginning to end. ​​​

Though small, we bring deep experience and expertise and aim to offer Japanese levels of customer service, before you even step into Japan.

"Afgelopen maand zijn mijn moeder en ik 23 dagen in Japan geweest. We hadden pas kort van tevoren bedacht dat we naar Japan wouden gaan (2 maanden eerder) en vroegen Cocoro (Tom & Moe) of ze ons konden helpen met het organiseren van de reis. Dit konden ze, en het was fantastisch! Alles was tot in de puntjes georganiseerd, en sloot goed aan op onze wensen! We hebben prachtige plekken van het land gezien, waar we anders niet terecht waren gekomen. Ook tijdens de reis waren ze heel goed bereikbaar voor vragen. Al met al zal ik Tom en Moe zeker aanraden om je reis te laten organiseren! Het is een leuk en symphatiek koppel die je perfect kan helpen om je reis naar Japan op maat te laten maken!"

Cocoro organized our 22-day trip to Japan. The trip was extremely well organized and struck a good balance between cultural experiences in Japan’s mega cities and scenic escapes off the beaten track. Especially for a country as popular as Japan, we feel very grateful for the various hidden gems that Moe, born and raised in Japan herself, pointed us towards.
