We’re a small, specialized travel agency run by Moe (from Japan) and Tom (from the Netherlands), and you’ll always be in direct contact with us — no middlemen, no hand-offs. Because Moe grew up in Japan and Tom has lived and traveled there extensively, we combine deep local knowledge with an international perspective. We take the time to understand your interests, preferences, and travel style, and create a tailor-made trip that’s truly yours. • What do you mean with "Authentic Japan"
Many first time western tourist who go to Japan for the first time follow the so called "Golden Route". This means following the "Highlights of Japan" and going to Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. These are all great cities to visit, but they have also become very touristy. We recommend to not just follow this route but to go further into Japan and see what else there is to discover. Take it from us, there is so much left to see, and often, because they are less touristy, will give you a much better experience.

Japan is for most things considerably cheaper than Europe. You can for example often have a good meal for around 10 euros p.p., and a great meal for 20 euros. Tom's personal favorite Japanese food "Ramen", is often below 1000 yen, or around 6,50 euro.
  • What is the price range for the tailor made trips you offer?
The price can vary greatly depending on the duration of your trip, season of travel, type of hotel, and number of excursions. Typically we recommend between 3,000-3,500 as a base line p.p.
